MARCHING BUDDIES

Marching Buddies is a puzzle-platformer where your squad always marches together. Each buddy has a unique ability, but only the one leading the formation can use theirs. At any moment, press Shift to rotate the formation and put a different buddy in front.

Master each ability, switch leaders at the perfect moment, and guide your tiny team through a series of increasingly challenging puzzles.

Features

Five Unique Buddies

• Invisible (grey)  – Become undetectable to lasers, security turrets, and patrolling walkers.
• Runner (cyan) – Sprint across platforms and dash through the wide chasms.
• Jumper (lavender) – Reach impossible heights with a powerful leap.
• Heavy (red) – Push massive blocks and destroy them.
• Spark (yellow) – Zap enemies and activate electrical devices.

Instant Leader Switching

Your formation is your greatest strength. Swap leaders on the fly to combine abilities and solve environmental puzzles.

Puzzle Platforming

Every room is built around teamwork. Think ahead, experiment with different leader orders, and use each buddy's strengths to overcome obstacles.

One Final Stand

After proving that every little buddy matters, it's time for the ultimate challenge. Your team finally combines into a single warrior, unlocking powerful combat stances inspired by each buddy's abilities. Adapt your stance, learn the boss's attacks, and fight together as one.

Controls

• A / D – Move
• Space – Jump
• Shift – Rotate formation and change the leader
• Left Click – Select any buddy as the new leader by clicking on them
• Left Ctrl  – Dash (only 2 buddies can)

Theme

Created for a game jam with the theme "Little Guys."
